Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access the courses?

Simply log in at the top of the page with the email you registered. If you need to, you can easily reset your password. Once logged in, go to Products to reach your dashboard, where you’ll have access to your courses as soon as they go live.

Are the sessions live or pre-recorded?

All sessions are pre-recorded and available on-demand, so you can watch whenever it’s convenient for you. Learn at your own pace and revisit the lessons as often as you like within the course time limit.

Juz Highlights is available for one year, giving you plenty of time to complete all sessions and reflect on the content.

Can I watch with my family?

Absolutely! These sessions are designed for all levels, so inshaAllah everyone can take away meaningful reminders. Watching together is a wonderful way to spark discussion, reflection and make the Quran part of your family’s shared learning. Please note: Login details are for household use only and cannot be shared.

Can I download the videos?

No, the videos can only be accessed directly within the course website. This helps ensure a smooth and secure experience for all learners while keeping the content available and up-to-date for you and your family.

Are any additional resources required?

No additional resources are required, though you may find it helpful to personalise your Quran by annotating key points. My Quran Study Journal' by Sun Behind The Cloud is a great companion, with space to write notes alongside the verses.

What are your sources of reference?

Our courses draw on a variety of trusted and inspiring resources, including:

  • Quranic reflections by Academy for Learning Islam, along with their tafsir materials

  • Materials by QFatima

  • Quran Lesson Per Page and 30/30 course by Mizan Institute

  • Quran Hadi App, featuring An Enlightening Commentary into the Light of the Holy Qur'an

  • Notes from the lectures I’ve sat through and eagerly scribbled away at!

These resources, combined with personal reflection and experience, help ensure the content is clear, meaningful, and practical for learners.

What led you to create these courses?

Islam From The Start began 15 years ago while teaching the faith to my little one. Since then, through the publication of Islamic Values and the Children’s Islamic Values Quran Journal, we’ve been sharing Quranic reminders with madrasahs, community circles, and online learners.

Our courses are designed to bring the Quran into your daily life, inspire reflection, and help you build a meaningful, transformative connection with the words of Allah.

Join us and let the Quran be the rope we hold onto together (3:103). Let the words of Allah be your daily companion, and the Quran the soundtrack to your life.
